This is a start-up farm owned by black female youth focusing on vegetable production. The Farm business is currently funded through a loan from Ithala Development Finance Corporation (IDFC). ADA intervened by purchasing mobile cold storage, ripper, ten hydroponic tunnels as well as the provision of mentorship. The farm assistance is still ongoing, the expected impact is that the financial injection will help the farmer to be more sustainable. Mentorship services will assist the farm in handling hydroponics production as well as access to better markets and improve overall business management. The business supplies directly Jwayelani, Ilembe enterprise, Checkstar, Durban Fresh Market, Food Lovers Market, Mkondeni Fresh Produce Market, Agricultural House (PMB) and Natural Route Agri (Mentor). The farm has employed seven permanent staff members and five seasonal workers.
